General FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions: To read our Foster Q&A or Adoption Q&A, please click on the links.
How can I adopt a cat from your organization?
To adopt a cat from our organization, please fill out the adoption form on our website. Once submitted, your information will be sent to our animal management system, AnimalsFirst. Our foster coordinator will review your application and contact you. This process typically takes up to 3 days.
Do you offer spaying & neutering services for cats?
Yes, we ensure that all our cats are spayed or neutered before going to foster homes or their adoptive families. The exception is kittens - we may place them in foster care or for adoption before they are old enough, and we arrange for their spay/neuter once they reach the appropriate age of 3 - 6 months. Please note that we do not perform the surgeries ourselves, as we are not a veterinary clinic.
Can I surrender my cat if I can no longer care for it?
We do accept cat surrenders, but our capacity is limited. If we have space, we will gladly take in your cat. If we are full, we will do our best to connect you with another rescue or shelter that can help.
Do you offer volunteer opportunities?
Yes! We welcome volunteers to join our network in a variety of roles, including drivers, grant writers, fundraisers, social media content creators, photographers, videographers, legal support, administrative help, and, of course, foster caregivers.
How can I donate to support your shelter's mission?
There are many ways to support our mission! You can make a one-time donation through the form on our website, become a monthly donor or partner, or contribute via a Donor Advised Fund (DAF). We also welcome larger donations, which we set aside toward our ultimate goal: creating a space - such as a cat café or cat art studio - where cats and people can connect and thrive together.
